Tasmania Shore Excursions

Arriving on a cruise ship then check out these Tasmanian Shore Excursions

Hobart Shore Excursion

Hobart is an easy arrival for a Cruise Ship as they dock in the town making it possible to walk into Hobart and enjoy all Hobart has to offer. There is a hop on hop off bus that takes in the main attractions. MONA is another possible visit and reached by a ferry that operates close to where your cruise ship docks. On arrival there will be many Hobart tour companies touting for business offering a full range of Hobart shore excursions. You will also find it easy to find a taxi.

Port Arthur Shore Excursion

For Port Arthur there is no need to organise any transport as your cruise ship will tender you directly to the Port Arthur Historical site.

Burnie Shore Excursion

Burnie is an industrial port in the north of Tasmania where your cruise ship will dock. A free bus will take you to the Burnie Function Centre where you will find the local tour companies offering a Burnie cruise tour. Burnie is an excellent port to book a shore excursion as there is much to see inland and Burnie itself being small is quick to see, meaning you have time to see Burnie and do a cruise tour. It is a good idea to book ahead in Burnie as there are far less tour companies operating in Burnie compared to Hobart.

Tours you can book ahead are:
